He also won a Euroleague championship in 2001 where he was voted Final Four MVP after leading Maccabi Tel Aviv to its first European title in 24 years. At the age of 35,
he also won a FIBA Championship where he led his Akasvayu Girona, Spain team to its first European title ever!
He was named MVP of the 2007 FIBA Final Four and then led them to the 2008 ULEB Cup Runner Up. In addition, he played for the Slovenian National team at the 2002 European Championships. Wow!
