Angel is a very talented forward who combines size, athletic ability and a great skill set. Angel played in the U19 World Championships for the Puerto Rican National Team where he averaged 13.8 point and 7 rebounds. After leading his high school team to the Indiana State championship, Angel was selected to play for the World All Stars at the Nike Hoop Summit in Portland. Angel signed with the University of Memphis and after overcoming an ACL surgery, he went on to score 16 points in 10 minutes in his first college game versus Tulsa and a 17 point in 14 minute game in the 3rd round of the NIT at Ole Miss. Angel signed his first professional contract with Euroleague power Unicaja Malaga of Spain.
